The biggest surprise at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards? Young Gravy packing on the PDA with Addison Rae’s mom, Sheri Easterling, on national TV.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the unlikely couple making out in the audience while Nicki Minaj accepted the Best Hip-Hop accolade for her hit “Do We Have A Problem?”
“Is yung gravy on stage with addison rae’s mom ??????” one Twitter user commented on a now-viral clip, which showed the pair kissing in the corner of the screen.
“No f-king way yung gravy just brought addison raes mom [to] the vmas,” a second person wrote.
Easterling, 42, and Gravy, 26, made their surprising red carpet debut as a couple at the awards show, which was held Sunday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
On the red carpet, Gravy exclusively told Page Six that they met on “the internet” and “FaceTimed” a couple of times before meeting in person.
“I hit on her first. I knew of her, and I thought she was fine,” he recalled.
“She’s like a Southern belle, and I’m a Northern boy, so it felt really cute and wholesome. … [I’m] into MILFs, and she’s kinda the queen of MILFs.”
Easterling’s estranged husband Monty Lopez, who allegedly had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old influencerwas quick to respond to the pair’s red carpet appearance.
“Thank you @younggravy for taking the leftovers,” Lopez, 46, shadily captioned a shirtless selfie via his Instagram Story Sunday.
“I would rather spend time with my daughter and 2 grandkids that Sheri Nicole made me abandon as a child in order to be with her,” he continued.
“Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child!”
In addition to Addison Rae, 21, Easterling and Lopez share sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8.
