Former WWE writer Vince Russo has claimed that he is now working with the USA Network to oversee Monday Night RAW.
Russo, who wrote for WWE during the company’s Attitude Era, left in 1999 to join WCW, where he became World Heavyweight Champion.
While speaking on his YouTube channelVince Russo revealed that he’s been working with the USA Network since 2020.
“From March, pre-Mania, bro, it was right before Mania in 2020, up until this past Mania in 2022. So basically, bro, for two years, I was consulting for the USA Network.
“I got in contact with the Vice President at the USA Network, who was overseeing RAW. He knew who I was, called me back immediately, and we had a long discussion. So the first thing he did was he went directly to Vince McMahon.”
Russo would briefly return to WWE in 2002 as a writer and later consultant before being released.
